I, Me, Myself

Hey, guys:

Do you know what day this Friday is? It's a holiday about vampires, witches, ghosts and pumpkins. Yap, it's Halloween. Do you have any plan for Halloween? Not yet? It's OK. I'm gonna tell you some tricks or games you can use or play on that day.

(1) Chants

What do you love to do on Halloween? Most kids love to go trick-or-treating.
So you can chant:

Trick or treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat.
Not too big, not to small, Halloween is wonderful.

And there are two versions of this chant. The other one is:

Trick or treat, trick or treat, give me something good to eat.
Give me candy, give me cake, give me something good to take.


(2) Games

Of course, you can always do some trick-or-treating on Halloween. But how to do that?
Teachers may teach some key lines one-two weeks before Halloween.
For example,
111 - Bats have lots of fun.
222 - Bats can shout boo.
333 - Bats hang in a tree.
444 - Bats stay on your shoulders.


If you don't have much time to do these activities but you still wanna give kids some fun, you can try this one:
Buy a witch's hat and prepare some cards with words like vampire, witch, ghost...etc. Stand in front of the door holding the hat. Before kids go into the classroom, each of them should take one card out of the witch's hat (like Harry Potter and his "Sorting Hat"). Kids who get the same card are in one group. This is a new way to divide them into groups.

Or

You can make many little pictures which is related to Halloween and paste them on your magnets.

Or

You can have your own "Scaring Box." Just throw things into that box and you can make kids go crazy for hours. XD
