I, Me, Myself

剛剛在 plurk 上面看到有人分享一篇文章：一語雙關，
這篇文章內容我以前應該看過，
不過那時候好像沒有中文翻譯（我本身就很少看中譯），
現在看到了這個版本的中譯，覺得有幾句翻得怪怪的，
想自己來試翻一下～


以下黑色中譯是原文，咖啡色是我翻的，或是我想修正的。

1. Money is not everything. There's Mastercard and Visa.
鈔票不是萬能的，畢竟有時還需要信用卡。
鈔票不是萬能，別忘了有信用卡。

2. One should love animals. They are so tasty.
每個人都應該熱愛動物，因為它們很好吃。

3. Save water. Shower with your girlfriend.
要節約用水，所以儘量和女友一起洗澡。

4. Love the neighbor. But don't get caught.
要用心去愛你的鄰居，不過不要讓她的老公知道。
愛你的鄰居，但別被抓到了。

5. Behind every successful man, there is a woman. And behind every unsuccessful man, there are two or more.
每個成功男人的背後，都有一個女人。每個不成功男人的背後，都有兩個或更多。

6. Every man should marry. After all, happiness is not the only thing in life.
再快樂的單身漢遲早也會結婚，畢竟幸福不是永久的嘛。
是男人就該結婚，畢竟，生活中不只有快樂而已。

7. The wise never marry，and when they marry they become otherwise..
聰明人都是未婚的,結婚的人很難再聰明起來。
這句話實在很難翻…因為原文有wise/otherwise的字形字義雙關，
中文找不到可以對稱進去的詞…
明智的人從不結婚，當他們結婚時，他們就不明智了。
(好像還不如直翻比較好？)

(其實這句很想翻成：有種的人不結婚，結婚後，他們就變種了。XDD)
 
8. Success is a relative term. It brings so many relatives.
成功是一個相關名詞，它會給你帶來很多不相關的親戚。
成功是個「關係」詞，它帶來很多「血緣關係」。

9. Never put off the work till tomorrow what you can put off today.
不要等明天交不上差再找藉口，今天就要找好。
不要把今天就可以延宕的工作拖到明天。

10. Love is photogenic. It needs darkness to develop.
愛情就像照片，需要大量的暗房時間來培養。

11. Children in backseats cause accidents. Accidents in backseats cause children.
後座上的小孩會生出意外，後座上的意外會生出小孩。
小孩在後座會有事，在後座出事會有小孩。(好像也沒有很好？)

12. "Your future depends on your dreams." So go to sleep.
現在的夢想決定著你的將來，所以，還是再睡一會吧。去睡吧。

13. There should be a better way to start a day than waking up every morning.
應該有更好的方式開始新的一天，而不是千篇一律地在每個上午都醒來。
應該有比「每天早上醒來」更好的方法來開始每一天。

14. Hard work never killed any body. But why take the risk？
努力工作不會導致死亡。但為什麼要冒險呢？
努力工作是還沒殺死過任何人，但為什麼要冒這個險呢？

15. "Work fascinates me."  I can look at it for hours!
工作好有意思耶!尤其是看著別人工作。
「工作很有意思！」我可以看著它好幾小時。

16. God made relatives; Thank God we can choose our friends.
神決定了誰是你的親戚,幸運的是在選擇朋友方面他給了你留了餘地。
親戚是天定的，幸好，朋友是自選的。

17. When two's company, three's the result!
兩個人的狀態是不穩定的,三個人才是!
兩人做伴，三人做收。（就是生小孩啦！XD）

18. A dress is like a barbed fence. It protects the premises without restricting the view.
服飾就像鐵絲網,它阻止你冒然行動但並不妨礙你盡情的觀看。
衣服就像有剌鐵網，它保護其領土，但沒限制視野。(囧，好爛)

19. The more you learn, the more you know, The more you know, the more
you forget.The more you forget, the less you know. So why bother to
learn.
學的越多,知道的越多, 知道的越多,忘記的越多, 忘記的越多,知道的越少, 為什麼學來著。
學得越多，知道越多；知道越多，忘記越多；忘記越多，知道越少。那幹嘛還學呢？
（我覺得字數都統一四個字比較有韻律感耶？）
